Spicy Sausage Vodka Pasta
Ingredients
- 5 spicy italian sausage
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic
- 2 tbsp vodka
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- heavy cream
- red chili flakes
- 1 box pasta
Instructions
- Slice sausage into one inch long sections.
- Put in pan and cook, flipping as you go.
- Dice garlic and onion as sausage cooks.
- Remove sausage and set aside.
- Deglaze pan with vodka.
- Add oil, onion, and garlic.
- Add tomato paste and mix in as best you can.
- Turn down heat and add heavy cream.
- Add sausage back in and set to low.
- Cook pasta in oiled and salted water.
- Strain pasta and mix with sausage and sauce, add red pepper flakes to taste.
Ginger Beef Noodle Soup
Ingredients
- 1 lb one inch chunked steak
- 1 carton beef broth
- 2 cups button mushrooms
- 1.5 onions
- 1 bushel bok choy
- A lot of ginger
- 1/3 clove garlic
- 1 handfull noodles from li mings
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- garlic and onion powder
- 3 star anis
- 4 green onion
Instructions
- Season steak with garlic and onion powder. Melt butter in pot and sear steak.
- Add soy sauce and sesame sauce to steak and mix. Let sit.
- Remove steak and toss in sliced mushrooms and onions.
- Remove mushroom and onion mix. Mix with steak.
- Add broth, garlic, ginger, and star anis to pot. Simmer.
- Figure out how to finish cooking steak (tbh idk how yet).
- Cook noodles in separate pot. Strain.
- Add chopped bok choy to broth and let simmer. Turn off heat.
- Add steak, mushrooms, and onions into broth.
- Serve steak over noodles in bowl. Dice green onion on top.
